Amanda Short
1 (20 oz.) bag of frozen whole kernel corn
1 c. heavy cream
3 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Place corn in sauce pan with cream. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Melt 2 Tbsp. butter in small pan. Stir in sugar and flour – do not
brown. Stir flour mixture into
corn. Stir and cook until slightly
thickened. Turn into oven safe
dish. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. melted
butter and parmesan cheese. Brown
very lightly in broiler.
