Special K Special

This is Mom's (Tauna) recipe.  A classic for sure!!

1 cube butter

1 cube margarine

¼ c. brown sugar

¾ c. white sugar

24 large marshmallows (3 ½ c. mini)

1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. nuts (pecans)

6 c. Special K cereal

Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Do not overcook.  Add vanilla.  Pour over Special K and nuts.  Mix well.  Pour onto waxed paper to cool.
